Mandata’s subcontractor app enables users ofthe Mandata’s Transport Management System to share jobs with otherhaulage companies and owner-drivers. Once registered haulagecompanies can distribute job and load details quickly and easilyvia the Mandata TMS to a subcontractor’s mobile device. Theservicecan be accessed by authorised personnel and utilisedthroughdedicated management screens, offering dashboard-stylereportingand centralised management. Within the timesheet function,aselection of time recording options are available.Enhancedcoordination and control of drivers’ availability is also akeybenefit through a selection of options that track and recorddaysoff, requests for leave as well as unused holiday allowance.Thesystem also records the number of days a driver has taken assickleave in a given period. Returnloads has launched a brand new smartphone app.Oncedownloaded, users are able to access features includingjoballocation, estimated time of arrivals, electronic proofofdelivery (ePODS), and vehicle tracking. This allows users toboosttheir business productivity and profits with ease. Designedforhaulage companies and owner drivers to help with joballocation,giving users a live view of their jobs and vehiclesstatus, userscan see when a driver arrives at the pick-up location.They canthen confirm the status of the job as picked up, entertheestimated time of arrival, and mark the load as in transit oncetheload has left the pickup site. The entire journey is updatedinreal-time with updates being sent to the loader via email. Oncethedriver has successfully delivered the load, they will be abletocapture the signature through the new ‘sign-on glass’ featureasproof the customer has received the load, reducing incidentsofdelivery dispute or the need for any paper-based delivery trails.
